Time flies and another new year is coming, yet we have never stopped striving.

2023年是全面贯彻落实党的二十大精神的开局之年，柳工迎来了创建65周年和上市30周年的重要时刻。面对国内工程机械行业深度下滑的挑战和疫情后经济逐渐复苏的机遇，公司采取了积极变革和主动应对策略，深入实施“全面解决方案、全面智能化、全面国际化”战略，推动各项业务稳步发展，取得了良好业绩。

The year 2023 marked LiuGong’s 65th anniversary and the milestone of 30 years since it went public. In the face of challenges posed by a sharp decline in the domestic market and emerging opportunities following the epidemic, we embraced positive changes and implemented a strategy of "Comprehensive Solutions, Comprehensive Intelligence, and Comprehensive Globalization" to drive steady growth across our various businesses and achieved a good result.

值此辞旧迎新之际，我谨代表公司党委和管理层，向一年来团结奋进的全体员工及家属，向长期驻守一线的营销和服务将士，向长期关心和支持柳工发展的各级领导、广大客户、合作伙伴及社会各界，表示最衷心的感谢，并致以最美好的新年祝福！

In 2023, we insisted on striving for excellence and achieved a new level of high-quality development.

奋斗是柳工的文化基因。65年来，我们始终坚持艰苦奋斗、长期奋斗、卓越奋斗，取得了行业瞩目的成就。在上级部门的领导下，我们持续深化混合所有制改革，推动企业高质量发展。挖掘机、高空作业平台等产品线大幅跑赢行业，国四产品行业领先。海外收入首次突破百亿，成为公司主要利润贡献来源。

Striving is our cultural DNA. For 65 years, we have been insisting on hard working, long-term endeavors, and achieved remarkable success in the industry. Under the leadership of management team, we continued to promote our diversified corporate governance and achieved substantial progress. LiuGong excavators and aerial work platform significantly outperformed the industry, while our National Stage IV products are leading the industry. With more than 10 billion RMB in revenue for the first time, our overseas business has become a major contributor to LiuGong's profits.

2023年，我们正式发布柳工新文化和新品牌理念，以“三全”战略为核心，持续推进研发、制造、供应链、公司治理等十二项变革。在上市30周年之际，成功发行30亿可转债，实施股票期权激励方案，建立健全长效激励约束机制。加速推进智能制造，打造柳工LPS系统，柳工智能国际工业园挖掘机智慧工厂建成投产，中源液压新工厂完成建设。装载机智能工厂荣获2023年度第二届中国标杆智能工厂。

In 2023, we officially launched new versions of LiugGong culture and brand concept. With the "Three Comprehensives" strategy, we kept pushing forward with 12 changes in R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate governance. On the occasion of our 30th public listed anniversary, we successfully issued 3 billion RMB convertible bonds, implemented the stock option incentive scheme, and establisheda sound long-term incentive and restraint mechanism. We accelerated intelligent manufacturing and keeps building LPS system. Excavator intelligent factory in LiuGong Intelligent International Industrial Park was finished and put into production. The construction of Zhongyuan Hydraulic new factory was completed. What’s more, our wheel loader intelligent factory was awarded as China’s 2nd batch of “Bench-marking Intelligent Factory” in 2023.

客户是价值创造的原点。在国内需求巨幅下降的市场环境下，我们积极实施渠道变革、行业客户转型，投资建设行业领先的7S店、积极推广电动化智能化产品，实现了国内工程机械产品整体跑赢行业。

Customers are the origin of our value creation. Despite the huge decline in domestic market, we still actively implemented channel reform and industrial customers’ transformation. We invested in industry-leading 7S stores to actively promote electrified and intelligent products. With all the efforts, our CE products put us in an even stronger position in the industry.

我们持续深化全面国际化战略，先后在澳大利亚等海外重点市场成立子公司，欧美成熟市场和新兴市场营销收入实现大幅增长，国际后市场业务逐渐提升，推动海外业务持续高质量发展。2023年，基本实现国内国际业务均衡发展的战略新格局。

We deepened the comprehensive globalization strategy and set up subsidiaries in Australia and other key countries. We achieved substantial growth from mature markets in Europe and US, as well as emerging markets. Our after-market business is gradually improving, driving the sustained high-quality development of overseas operations.In 2023, we basically realized a new strategic pattern of balanced development for both domestic and overseas business.

通过参加国内国际大型行业展会，举办柳工5.28、11.26全球客户节，展示了柳工大型设备、电动化、智能化、数字化等新产品、新技术和全面解决方案，提升了柳工品牌全球影响力。

By participating in large domestic and international industry exhibitions, hosting the LiuGong Global Customer Festivals on May 28th and November 26th, we showcased large-scale equipment, as well as new products, technologies, and comprehensive solutions for electrification, digitalization and intelligence. This has greatly enhanced the global influence of the LiuGong brand.

In 2023, we insisted on innovation driving and achieving impressive results in zero-emission and intelligence technology field.

创新是柳工进步的灵魂。我们成立了元象公司，拓展国内外研发中心，加大研发创新投入，持续提升对海外业务、战略新兴业务的支持力度。

Innovation is the soul of LiuGong’s progress. We established Yuanxiang Technology Company, expanded domestic and overseas R&D centers, increased investment in R&D and innovation, and continued to enhance support for overseas business and strategic emerging business.

全年发布新产品100多项，推出大型矿用装载机、挖掘机混合动力新产品，电动产品快速系列化，全球首发无人驾驶纯电动装载机，持续拓展智慧矿山、工业互联网等解决方案，多款零部件产品达到国际领先水平。牵头制订多项土石方机械电动化标准，引领行业电动技术规范发展。

In 2013, we launched over 100 new products and introduced hybrid options for large mining loaders and excavators. We quickly developed electric models and unveiled the world's first unmanned pure electric loader. Additionally, we expanded our offerings in smart mining and smart industrial internet solutions. Many spare parts and components we produce reached the international leading level. We took the lead in formulating multiple standards for electrification of earth-moving machinery, leading the development of electric technology specifications in the industry.

我们积极倡导绿色制造和绿色产品。“柳工产品及生产过程碳中和碳节约应用”案例荣获国务院国资委2022年度碳达峰碳中和行动典型案例一等奖，液压工厂荣获国家级“绿色工厂”，柳工欧维姆入选“创建世界一流专精特新示范企业”。

We actively advocate green manufacturing and green products. A case of "Carbon Neutral and Carbon Saving Application of LiuGong's Products and Production Processes" won the top prize of 2022 Carbon Peak Carbon Neutral Action Typical Cases from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. And our Hydraulic Factory was recognized as a national "Green Factory". LiuGong OVM was made it into the list of "Professional Excellence and Innovation Enterprises" on National level.

合作创造价值是柳工的核心价值观。我们与清华大学、浙江大学等高校推进“产、学、研、用”全面创新合作，与国内国际行业客户共同推进智能化、绿色化等全面解决方案，与德国采埃孚签署产品技术许可协议，牵手佛朗斯打造经营性租赁新模式。在柳工创建65周年之际，我们回顾了与广大客户、代理商和供应商等相关方长期战略合作、互利共赢的丰硕成果。

Creating value through cooperation is our core value. We promoted the comprehensive innovation in production, learning, research and application, with Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University and other top universities. We promoted the comprehensive solutions of intelligent and zero-emission with domestic and overseas industrial customers. We have signed the product technology license agreement with ZF Germany, and partnered with Folangsi to create a new business leasing model. At this special year, we reviewed the fruitful results from our long-term strategic cooperation with customers, dealers and suppliers.

通过柳工大学各层级的培养项目，我们持续强化员工的专业能力和经理人员的领导力；开展创新创业大赛、举办全球技能比武大赛、建设国际技能工匠学院等，打造可持续发展的国际化人才队伍。

Through various training programs at LiuGong University, we continuously enhance the professional capabilities of our employees and the leadership skills of our managers. We organize innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, host global skills competitions, and establish an International Skills Artisan Academy to cultivate a sustainable international talent pool.

我们持续支持南极科考，赞助中国首届学青会，持续推进三江县五个村的乡村振兴事业，用实际行动彰显柳工的社会责任与担当。

We continue to support Antarctic scientific research, sponsor the first China Youth Association Conference, and promote rural revitalization in five villages in Sanjiang County. Through practical actions, we demonstrate LiuGong's social responsibility and commitment.

In 2024, in line with the 14th Five-Year Plan strategic objectives and the direction of "Three Comprehensives" strategy, we will work towards achieving comprehensive performance improvement by focusing on domestic marketing reforms, overseas market development, new products and technologies innovations, intelligent manufacturing improvement, organization and human resources adjustments.
